MunchaLunch Fundraising!

Hot Dog and Pizza Lunch orders are now open using the Munch-A-Lunch system.

All revenue from fundraising goes towards capital projects.

Under the revised Funding Agreement of 1996 with the Province of Manitoba, the Province provides St. Charles Catholic School with funding per pupil equal to 50% of the provincial public school per pupil operating cost expenses.  St. Charles Catholic School relies on tuition, fees, parish support, donations, and fundraising as the critical means of augmenting the 50% provided by the Province.  However, while fundraising is crucial from a budgetary perspective, fundraising is seen at St. Charles Catholic School as a community building initiative.  Bringing parents and care givers together and working towards a common goal are key benefits of our fundraising program.  This is especially important as St. Charles is sponsored by five parishes and parents/caregivers may not necessarily know each other.  In addition, our children see the commitment of our parents/caregivers to the School and our community.  For these reasons, fundraising remains a focal point of the Board of Directors and the PAC, and your support is appreciated.

Each year, the Board of Director’s sets a fundraising goal. These funds will be put towards advancing classroom technology and capital projects. Our fundraisers would not be possible without the donated time of our parent volunteers. Thank you!

Any questions/comments concerning Fundraising should be forwarded to fundraising@stccs.ca

Fundraising Proposals:

New ideas for fundraising are always welcome. We are especially interested in community event fundraisers. All proposed fundraisers must be transparent, ethical, and not of personal benefit to any member or our community. Anyone interested in submitting a fundraising proposal should complete the Fundraising Proposal Form with as much detail as possible. All new ideas will be considered by the Board of Directors. Thank you in advance for wanting to make SCCS a better community!

Families are required to sell at least 5 fundraising items, either Chocolate or Raffle Books, or a combination of the two. Selling more than the required amount of fundraising items awards 1 VIP hour.

Worlds Finest Chocolates

In September and October each family is required to sell up to 5 cases of chocolates for the school year. Families are encouraged to use social media to help promote chocolate and raffle sales. The chocolates this year will be: 3 for $5 variety cases which include: 18 Milk Chocolate & Almond Bars, 12 Caramel Bars, 12 Crispe Bars, 12 Pure Milk Chocolate Bars, and 6 Dark Chocolate Bars. Expiry of these chocolates will be Nov/Dec 2026. Contact the school office or fundraising@stccs.ca for more information.

Mandatory Raffle

Up to 5 Raffle Books are the responsibility of each family. The draw for the 2026-2027 school year will take place in December at SCCS. Winners will be contacted directly.
