Principal’s Weekly Update – March 15th, 2024

The Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you.  (2 Thess. 3:3)

Update Attachments – :

Unfortunately, this has been a unique week at SCCS. Both Reconciliation and the PAC Meeting were cancelled this past Wednesday.  Grades 7 & 8 enjoyed Pii Day on Thursday. Our Science Fair that was scheduled for today for our middle years’ students has been postponed until after Spring Break.

This weekend, our school will undergo a deep clean/sanitization process.  For all those students, staff, and family members that are ill, I hope that you will soon feel better and be ready to return to a regular routine. I know that we are all looking forward to that. If you are going to the lab to be tested, I have been asked by Public Health to remind you that you need to complete the demographic information on the lab requisition for the affected person IN ADVANCE of presenting to the community-based lab.  The lab will turn you away if the requisition is missing the client information.

Again, thank you for your patience, understanding, and support these past few days.

Take good care,
Tammy

BLESSING BAGS

Thanks to your incredible generosity, we have successfully collected over $500.00 for our Blessing Bag initiative! The funds gathered helped us to purchase essential items and necessities to bring comfort and warmth to those in need. Each bag contains a pair of thermal socks, a package of wipes, toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, a water bottle, band aids, and a granola bar. This week the Mass Readers Club assembled the 100 Blessing Bags.
A very special thank you to Revive Dental who donated toothbrushes for this worthy cause.
Once again, thank you for your incredible support. It is heartening to witness the power of our community coming together to spread kindness.
