SHROVE TUESDAY BREAKFAST
Thank you to our parent representatives and all volunteers for their support in organizing and assisting with this special event. Your collective efforts contributed to a warm, welcoming, and successful morning for our school community. Wishing you a blessed Lenten season.
MUSICAL
Starting next week, we will be selling musical tickets after school.
Support our Musical program by purchasing tickets for musical baskets! Tickets are $2 each and can be purchased through the school office or at WAG on May 4.
This year’s baskets include:
- Kids’ Basket – valued at $150
- Couples’ Basket – valued at $300
- Family Basket – valued at $375
BINGO NIGHT AT SCCS
Join us for a fun‑filled evening at our St. Charles Catholic School Bingo Night held at the school on March 5, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. (doors open at 6:00 p.m.).
Bring your family, friends, and co‑workers for a night of games, prizes, and great company! A Wine & Beer Bar will also be available throughout the evening.
Please note: Guests must be 12 years or older unless accompanied by a playing adult.
Payment Accepted: Cash, Debit, and Credit
We’ll have a variety of card options and packages available, along with 50/50 tickets for purchase. Don’t forget to bring your daubers!

HELP NEEDED BINGO NIGHT AT SCCS March 5th, 2026
THE 26TH ANNUAL SCCS GOLF TOURNAMENT

Our annual tournament is on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Breezy Bend Country Club.
Sponsorship packages and additional information are available on Parent Zone. Please help support this important fundraising event for the school!
Our golf tournament is just around the corner, and we are currently looking for a few coordinators to help support planning. If you are interested and available, please contact fundraising@stccs.ca
BASC
Here’s what’s happening in BASC next week:
- Monday and Wednesday are BLINE days
- Cheer will run on Thursday
- Please note that Car Racing and Wood Burning are now full and closed to new registrations.
- There are still spots available for our St. Patty’s activity and the Easter Craft.
A reminder that the March BASC form is due next week.
Our Friday, March 6th Full‑Day BASC is almost full. Students must be registered by Monday in order to attend.
Please check your child’s backpack on Monday for the BASC Tax Receipt.

MID-TERM EXAMS
Our Grade 7 and 8 students completed their mid‑term exams last week, writing in the school gym under formal exam conditions. We are incredibly proud of their focus, perseverance, and maturity throughout the process. Their hard work and thoughtful preparation were evident, and they demonstrated strong responsibility and resilience. Marks will be up on PowerSchool on Monday.
THE SCCS LAPEL PIN LEGACY PROJECT
 The SCCS Lapel Pin Legacy Project is a new tradition that allows students to leave a lasting mark on our school community. The Grade 8 students created pin designs that reflected their personal SCCS journey. Students and staff across the school then voted to choose the final pin that best represents the spirit of the school year.Current families, alumni, extended relatives, and supporters are all welcome to order. Each pin is professionally produced from the student’s artistic vision and is 1 inch in diameter. Pins cost $5 each. Please place your orders by March 6, 2026. I LOVE TO READ MONTH

PINK SHIRT DAY
Pink Shirt Day is recognized each year as a powerful reminder of our collective responsibility to stand up against bullying in all its forms.
Students and staff wear pink to promote kindness, inclusion, and respect, while raising awareness about how bullying affects children and youth both in person and online. Pink Shirt Day encourages communities to speak up, support one another, and create environments where everyone feels safe, valued, and seen.
