St. Charles Catholic School is situated on the quiet banks of the Assiniboine River in west Winnipeg. We are a well-established school with a young heart and a progressive vision.

Educational Assistants support teachers and students in the classroom. Needs can vary from year to year. Both male and female adults with H.S. Diplomas are encouraged to apply.


Successful applicants will:

  • Demonstrate a philosophy consistent with Catholic Education
  • Have a minimum of a Grade 12 Diploma
  • Experience working in a cooperative environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills


Preferences will be given to candidates with certification as an Educational Assistant and experience with early reading intervention programs.

BASC – Before and After School Program * No positions currently available.

St. Charles accommodates almost 100 children in Before and After School Care. Individuals interested in exploring a regular or substitute position are encouraged to submit a resume to the Principal. Current CAR and CRC are required.
