I also want to extend a big heartfelt thank you for all the warm wishes, thoughtful gifts, and delicious goodies shared this week. Your kindness and generosity are deeply appreciated. On behalf of my entire staff-thank you!

Thursday’s blizzard brought its challenges and even led to the rare decision to close schools across the city. I’m so grateful to everyone for your understanding and flexibility during that difficult morning.

As we head into the holidays, I hope you take time to rest, recharge, and enjoy every moment-whether you’re staying home or traveling. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a holiday filled with peace, joy, and memorable moments with loved ones.

As year-end approaches, families are encouraged to consider donating publicly traded securities (stocks, bonds, mutual funds) as a tax-efficient way to support the school. Donating securities eliminates capital gains tax and provides a charitable receipt for the full market value, maximizing impact at no extra cost. To donate, please submit before December 31.

Please do not get out of your vehicle in the loading zone. If your child needs help and there is no parking attendant/volunteer, please use the parking lot. The loading zone is a drop off or pick up zone. If you are parked in the loading zone and waiting for your child to arrive then this causes congestion. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our school grounds safe and accessible for all.
To help support this effort, we are looking for parent volunteers to assist with our parking lot and loading zone patrol. Please sign up using the link below: 2025-2026 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED | PARKING LOT & LOADING ZONE PATROL

THANK YOU for supporting the Music program. We raised $772 from the ticket sales.

Sharpen Your Skates-Its almost time for Learn to Skate!

An email has been sent to all families with students in kindergarten to Grade 2 about our upcoming skating program. This program is an important part of the Physical Education curriculum, and all students are required to participate. Please complete the link here: https://permission.click/M6NaN/ca

Skating will take place almost every Tuesday at Keith Bodley Arena, beginning January 6, 2026.

Our Wednesday hot lunch fundraiser continues in the new year! A kind reminder that all orders WITH PAYMENT for the first lunch back after winter break (January 7, 2026) are due by December 19, 2025.

Please ensure if you’re paying by cheque or cash, that this is submitted to the office before the school closes for winter break. If not, your order will be cancelled.
