Extra-Curricular Activities:

As event dates and times may change from those sent home in parent communication, please make a point to check the school website. We will be posting the most recent changes through updates to the website.

  • Milk and/or a Hot Lunch is available if pre-ordered (forms will be available at school or online via Meal Programs under the Parents tab).

  • Every Wednesday, parent volunteers serve a hot Hot Dog/Pizza Lunch to students as one of our school fundraisers. The Hotdog Meal includes one hotdog and a bag of chips. The Pizza Meal includes one slice of cheese pizza and one oatmeal chocolate chip cookie. Extra pieces may be ordered in addition to the meals. Information and Ordering is available online via Meal Programs under the Parents tab.

  • As part of the St. Charles Catholic School community, there are Mandatory Fundraisers that our families participate in. Please navigate to the Fundraising page under the Parents tab. Updated information for the 2017-2018 year will be posted soon.

  • We rely on volunteers for so many activities at the school. To that end, all SCCS families are required to contribute 20 volunteer hours. Our VIP (Volunteer Incentive Program) has been set up to offer a variety of opportunities to assist families in completing these hours. More information on this program will be forthcoming.

    • SCCS is looking for coordinators for our most successful fundraisers, our Golf Tournament and Fundraising Hot Dog/Pizza Lunches.
    • The Golf Tournament needs 4 coordinators to work with the golf course, gather prizes, confirm sponsors, assemble teams, market the event, and run the event. A database of prize donors and sponsors will be given from previous tournaments to make it easy.
    • We also need coordinators and volunteers for our Hot Dog Lunch, which is every second Wednesday, and runs from October to the end of May. The coordinator is responsible for organizing the volunteers, compiling orders, and helping the volunteers with preparation and service of food.

  • Tuition, Payment Option information and forms and Preauthorized Payment information and forms, available on the Tuition page.

Mumps in Manitoba - February 2017

Please find linked message from Manitoba Health, Active Living and Seniors (MHSAL) with regards to the Mumps outbreak in Manitoba. In recent weeks the spread of mumps has been seen in the school-aged population throughout Manitoba. Please share this letter with all the schools to ensure that the communication is provided to the parents/guardians of all the students. In addition, the message can also be posted however the school determines appropriate (i.e. website, bulletin board, etc). MHSAL appreciates any efforts that the schools in Manitoba can undertake to get the message out and to prevent the further transmission of mumps in Manitoba.
